Yes, here is a short video of us removing one from a truck. As you can see, it only takes 30 seconds!

Can I open and close my tailgate of my truck without opening the tonneau cover?
You certainly can! That is one of the nicer features of the cover. You can have access to your truck bed without opening the cover.
Is the tonneau cover secure?
Yes.
Most newer trucks have a locking tailgate.
As long as your tonneau cover is latched (from underneath) and your tailgate is locked, your truck bed is secured. Our newer style secures the cover from underneath for a clean exterior look.
Note: We still have a couple of older models (before 2008-2009) in inventory that have an exterior lock. Yes...we'd be willing to make a "deal" with you to get rid of our older inventory. ESPECIALLY the 2004-2006 Silverado/Sierra CREW cab tonneau covers.
How strong is the cover? I mean, c'mon...it's made of aluminum!
Our cover is nearly 50% thicker than the aluminum hood on Ford's F150.
It is very strong.
Our "scientific test" included getting 10 of us guys to stand on the tonneau cover. Total weight was over 1500 lbs. There was no damage to the tonneau cover. (Please do not put 1500 lbs. on your truck bed. They are called "1/2 ton" pickups for a reason...maybe we should just say that out tonneau covers can support quite a bit of distributed weight?)
You can't tell very easily from the photos, but it's nearly 2 inches thick at the center. The cover is shaped sort of like a pillow. Thin on the edges and thicker in the center. This allows the cover to retain it's strength, direct the load to the bed rails and to shed water from the rain.
Speaking of rain, is this tonneau cover waterproof?
No tonneau cover manufacturer, that we're aware of, claims to have a tonneau cover that is waterproof. We claim the tonneau cover is weather-tight.
Meaning: that if it rains or snows, water won't leak into your truck bed if it is installed correctly.
We use a rubber seal on the tonneau cover that seals out the elements and is attached to the underside of the tonneau cover.
(Please note that most truck beds have holes in the bottom of the truck bed itself as well as openings around the tailgate. The Lazer Lite cover cannot protect those areas from the elements.)
Hail? What about potential hail damage?
We've taken our trucks outfitted with the Lazer Lite out into some of the worst hail storms we could find and the covers did not receive any damage.
A customer reports that our tonneau cover 'survived' Hurricane Ike...but the rest of his truck was 'totalled'!!:
Is the cover really a "No-Drill" installation?
Most certainly!
Each model has it's own set of custom designed brackets to fit your truck bed. You do not need to drill into your truck.
Installation instructions are here for each truck bed cover that we offer:

How easy is the cover to install?
We can install most of our covers in about 15 minutes or so....but then again, we've been doing it for awhile.
:>)
You can expect about 1/2 hour to an hour for installation. Throw your favorite CD in your CD player and you should be finished installing the tonneau cover before the end of the CD. One of our customers reported it took longer to cut up the packaging material to throw into the trash than it took to install his cover.
We tried hard to make the installation as easy as possible, with the fewest hand tools as possible.
What kind of tools do I need to install the Lazer Lite?
You'll probably just need a razor blade, tape measure, and a 7/16" "open-end" wrench (or a 10mm for the Explorer Sport Trac).
Installation instructions for each model are listed here:
I have a plastic bed liner in my truck bed, will your cover work with this?
Yes, but you might need to (slightly) trim the front corners of the plastic "drop-in" truck bed liner. (The rear is never a problem.)
Please note that some bed liners (both factory installed and aftermarket liners) may require some trimming to get the front brackets to work correctly.
Call us if you have questions about bed liners because they vary from each manufacturer and we can help you over the phone.
I have a tailgate cap or "mini spoiler", will this cover work for my truck bed?
Yes. We have instructions here:
I have a Dodge Ram SRT-10 and it has a wing, will your tonneau cover work with this wing?
Yes, it will. Please read these instructions for mounting the wing on your tonneau cover:Instructions for mounting your SRT-10 wing on our tonneau cover
